She was able to safely recorded a 6-month old baby’s (Emma) magnetic fields that changed as she did thinking using magnetoencephalography (MEG). Through listening to words in her parents native language, the auditory areas in Emma’s brain lit up, followed by the surrounding areas which their team believes to be related to coherence and logic.
